"Starkey" - the name of the village in the Belarusian Shklov region, existed since unknown times. Like many other Belarusian villages Starkey was abandoned, the last resident died in the 2012th. Our farmstead is so named in honor of the Belarusian village culture and history that is gradually erased from people's memory.
We strive to preserve our culture, history and traditions for the people, as we believe it is important for the existence of independent Belarus. Independence begins with the mental, so we invite you to discover the taste of the authentic life of the Belarusian village, which has been a reality for at least two centuries. On the territory of farmstead you will find a museum of Belarusian countryside life. The house itself is made of a traditional wooden logs without modern materials, according to the traditions and environmentally clean. The uniqueness of our house is that its roof is made of reeds, one of the most ancient, durable and eco-friendly materials in the world. Also you can find a small pond and the forest here. Twenty paces from our gates small river Niaroplia flows. Everything is done to you how to rest and forget about the worries of the city.
